  • Solar power installation Bradford Royal Infirmary

After having installed a 7.4kWp solar system for the Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI) in August 2011, we were asked to return for a second installation. This time we installed a 3kWp system on the lodge at Gate 7, increasing the total size of their solar systems to over 10kWp and raising a big interest in solar power in Bradford!

Thanks to a grant to help the BRI improve its energy efficiency and consequently the installation of insulated roof covering as well as the two solar systems, BRI is now one of the top 10 private and public bodies ranked in the government’s Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) league.

Having worked with us before on the 7.4kWp installation last year, BRI was keen to use us again as they preferred the services of a local, dependable company with a good reputation. In addition, they did not want to choose a faceless national company they had not worked with before. We hope to forge a close relationship and work together on many more projects in the future.

With more solar installations planned across the BRI itself and St. Luke’s Hospital, we look forward to helping the production of further installations of solar power in Bradford and the  surrounding areas in the months and years to come!
