Utilising solar panels for electricity

Solar photovoltaic energy was invented in France in the mid-19th Century, however, it was developed by NASA in the 1950′s and 60′s as a viable power source.

Photovoltaic is best known for creating electricity from the light of the sun. This Direct Current (D.C) electricity created by solar panels can then be turned in to power useable in the house (A.C Power) by way of an inverter.

There are many advantages of using solar panels for electricity which will benefit you financially as well as the environment.

At Electrotect Renewable Energies we use both Poly Crystalline and Mono Crystalline panels, which are of outstanding quality. We work with Independent Warranty and offer a 5 year parts and labour warranty to our customers.

Grid Connected Systems

Once this A.C power has passed through the inverter, it then runs through a credit meter to your household distribution board (or fuse box); this is known as a ‘Grid Connected System’.

Commercial Applications

Commercial and industrial installations hold the same advantages as domestic installations and are still subject to government funding and the ‘Feed In Tariffs’. Utilising solar panels for electricity will demonstrate your company’s commitment to help protect the environment.
